Reflections on "How to Be Kind to Yourself"

I wanted to share some recent feedback from How to Be Kind to Yourself. I love this class, where we share our insights, questions, and investigations together—I learn so much each time!

~ Denise.

The "How To Be Kind To Yourself" class exceeded expectations. I had already begun inner work on this subject, and from Denise I learned so many new skills I had not encountered in other mainstream sources: i.e., to create a Care Committee for myself; to work with judgments in my head as “only opinions,” and work similarly with What If fears; “I will not build that house again!;” and the visualization technique of confronting/embracing Fear. Many of these new skills are shockingly life-changing for me.

~ Courtney, class participant
I found this class invaluable in beginning to learn to pause and notice my feelings without judgment before jumping to action or reaction. Denise is an extremely compassionate person with a keen intellect and kept the class moving forward while also respecting and truly listening to each participant. Loved it so much, I came back for a second round.

~ Emily, class participant
