6-Week Class: Tuesdays Zoom videoconferencing, Jun 8 - Jul 13; 5:30 - 7:15 p.m. PT

You’re in a partnership. In fact, you care very much for each other and deeply value your relationship—at least until that moment he or she does something that really upsets you. Maybe you get angry. Maybe you feel hurt. The judgments and blame that surface hurt even more. Isn’t there a different way to handle this?

If you and your partner are curious about working through these conflicts with greater ease, honesty, and compassion, then Compassionate Communication is for you. Join us as we apply these tools to:

  • Increase our understanding of the nature of conflicts for couples.

  • Learn to use Pause Statements to stop a conflict from becoming a train wreck.

  • Translate judgments and blame into the experience of unmet needs and untangle the conflict by starting here.

  • Learn how an agreement to use these skills grows trust and love.

This is an interactive program with lots of opportunities to apply these new skills to the situations in your lives.

Facilitator: Denise Torres.
