A Season for Nonviolence
This year, the Center for Compassionate Living will once again join with others around the world to bring attention to A Season for Nonviolence. A Season for Nonviolence focuses “educational and media attention on the philosophy of attaining peace through nonviolent action as demonstrated by legendary leaders Mohandas K. Gandhi, Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr., Cesar E. Chavez, and President Nelson Mandela, as well as living legends such as His Holiness, Tenzin Gyatso, the 14th Dalai Lama of Tibet.”
Download our 64 Ways in 64 Days brochure! More information about A Season for Nonviolence can be found here. Central Oregon Community College also hosts events and facilitates community book conversations during the alternately named Season of Nonviolence. Please see COCC Multicultural Events for details.
