The Peace Center (PCOCO) is an all-volunteer non-profit organization of people committed to spreading Compassionate Communication throughout our community and beyond.
PCOCO is celebrating its 3rd anniversary. Look what we've done this year!
· Administrative Milestones:
o As of January, 2009, became independent of Democracy’s Edge, our sponsor for 2007/08.
o PCOCO was incorporated on January 9, 2009.
o January - Signed a 2 year lease for PCOCO at
o Furnished PCOCO through donations of furniture and equipment
o Bank account opened at Bank of the Cascades
o PCOCO finances were put on Quicken by Evelyn
o Bryn, Evelyn, Beth working on 501c3 application to be approved in 2010
o Evelyn located a tax preparer who will do our taxes for FREE.
o Facebook page created by Dwight and Carol.
o Created rental guidelines for using PCOCO facility.
o November - Received $1100 from First Presbyterian special collection
